Today we were scheduled to take a bus from Amsterdam to the Keukenhof. It's a garden to show off the many many varieties of tulips and other spring flowers.
Because I was constantly covering my cough or blowing my nose, it felt like there were 100,000 people there. I was regretting my decision to go. Not because it wasn't awesome, but because I was probably spreading this awful cold no matter how hard I tried to not breath by others.
I was planning on sending my sister some bulbs, then I remembered she gave up on tulips because the deer and squirrels eat them.
So anyway, it is almost time for dinner. We will be eating on the deck again because I am disgusting right now.
Tomorrow we will do a loop ride to and from an historic old town. That means starting and ending our rides in busy Amsterdam.
Hey, have you noticed I have less typing errors these days? Thanks to Steve for previewing these posts before they are published.
What lousy luck w this cold u are having! But honestly to get to see all these beautiful flowers is like a dream come true. They are all so unique. I especially loved one red one u sent. Never saw anything like that one! Enjoy your days and nights best u can under the circumstances!!! Charlotte
