We rested on the boat today. They hoisted the sails and we slowly made our way across the water. I rested in bed a good part of the day.
Steve and I kept our distance from the rest of the folks and the crew brought meals to us up on the deck. It was luxurious.
That flat box in the picture above is the escape hatch in our room below.
I am still miserable with the cold. But I think it is turning the corner. Steve is hardly blowing his nose at all anymore. I have a good N95 mask and if I am up to it I will go with the group on a bus to a big beautiful tulip garden. Then we will end up back at Amsterdam for one last day of cycling tomorrow.
We ended up at Enkhuizen yesterday evening. We got a short tour and then Steve and I were on our own to get supper. I told him, when we have colds we get to have ice cream. And we topped that off with Kibbling which is fried pieces of white fish.
