Hey There! We are near Lake Placid, New York, We flew to New York on Wednesday. The wind was blowing as we were driving to the airport and I kept checking to see if our flight was canceled. But it wasn't. The ride was bumpy until we got well above the clouds. Then it was bumpy again as we descended to Albany, New York. Later I saw there were tornado watches in our area of Florida. Steve's daughter is a teacher and was on spring break. She offered to pick us up from the airport. That was great! She even made us home made tomato soup and a lovely salad. That was very welcome because Steve's house had been completely shut down over the winter. It was cold there and he had to turn on the water and the heat. We stayed bundled up as we ate the hot soup.
